(Not open to the public ) from lunchtime be aware of
fast jets when on the Odiham Road A289

The weather just not settling down its wet every Day
so i have included places on this blog you might like to
visit now that the schools have broken up .
The Google Street view cameras are in the area so
see it give them a wave or whatever you feel.
Aviation: Biz movements continue to increase or so
it seems to Us . Several new aircraft have been delivered
recently to TAG Aviation And GAMA Aviation with
a few other Deliverys passing through enroute to there
New owners.
Less than a year now to Farnborough airshow 2010 And
As for 2008 we will be bringing you a show blog with
all the news , updates and pictures . we have that
already in Hand link posted ASAP

Local Events : Rushmoor in Bloom 2009
Yesterday 14th july the Judges were on an open tour bus around
Aldershot and Farnborough , vehicle used was a Southdown
open topped double deck 1960s vintage.

Display at LASHAM By Vulcan XH558 Has been cancelled.
UPDATE: RNAS Yeovilton :
XH558 Went Tech With brake problems and cancelled .By the time
was fixed Weather was very Bad so unable to display.

Aldershot Army Show
The weekend Army Show went ahead with the blessing
of the Familes after a Tragic event in Afganistan where
a very senior officer was killed (Aldershot based)
Saturday was well Attended in good weather with
only a few very light Showers. Huge crowds were there
to See a good selection of exhibits and arena Displays
Opening with the Human Cannonball .
King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery
Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team
The Arena Battle against Insurgents Afganistan
There were some very colourfull events like this dragon Dancing
And this Gentleman on a very large Cycle

Tumbledown Dick what is going on ?
One of farnborough oldest pubs and center of local
music is once again subject to rumours of demolition
Closed for 2 years and just left to Rot even though
the local council has said it wants it reopened .
The whole area around it is a mess big fences have
been erected and workmen say there Demolishing it

Farnborough and the Slump + notes
As an enthusiest i have noticed alone with many others
the drop in Movements at Farnborough . Some parts of
the world BIZ AVIATION Has gone out of fashion due
to Adverse publicity over Costs of running a company or
Private Jet . But I Maybe wrong here but things in last
week or so seem to be better . Movements seem to be
on the up and visitors from abroad are to be seen
Biz aircraft Registered to the G (uk) Civel register are
well down on previous years but a few New frames are
being added as is the M (isle of Man) .
Recent Visitor of interest to Farnborough was a United
States marine corps C130J Stayed about an Hour .
with no Airshow this year local interest may be an open
day by ATC Lasham 11th July. at LASHAM AIRFIELD
Its well worth a visit very nice people are ATC.
